The Jeffersonian Thermometer makes a striking accent in the garden. This outdoor garden thermometer uses a unique pierced brass drum scale with separate Fahrenheit and Celsius temperature scales to allow reading from either side of the instrument. A large isolated bi-metal coil on the Jeffersonian thermometer provides an accurate reading even in full sunlight!
The Jeffersonian thermometer includes a pressure treated wooden stake for ground installation and a hanger bolt for mounting on a deck or post. The outdoor garden thermometer is crafted from solid brass, glass and stainless steel.

The Jeffersonian Wind Gauge measures both wind speed and direction. The stainless steel pointer of the brass wind gauge is easily visible alone the 0 to 40 mph scale. The cobalt blue glass counter-balance points out the wind direction on the wind gauge while acting as a damper to keep the speed indicator steady.
Each brass wind gauge includes two 14 inch brass rods plus a pressure treated wooden stake for a total height of 42 inches, as well as a hanger bolt for optional installation on a post fence or deck rail.

This is a Copper Whale Weather-vane on a stand used to display in a Great-room or other large area. The Copper Whale is 38" long and 12.5" high. The base diameter is 12". The stand allows the weather-vane to be raised to 49". (less is better). Cast brass direction indicators and steel mounting rod. And no it doesn't have a dent on he right side. I'll try another image! While a beauty I don't think it would stand up to the elements, thus interior use.
