Tamaya Sextant

A very nice Tamaya Sextant, serial # 25198, believed to date from 1969. The Certificate of Examination (1969) shows the sextant to be free from material error. The index arm is a little stiff and the holder for the index mirror is missing some paint. The mirrors are excellent. The shades and filters are excellent. Overall this is a very good used sextant. The scope is 7 x 35. The box is sturdy but shows wear. A local merchant sailor came home from the sea.
